How much is needed to fulfill all pledges/promises made for Share 2024?
This amount is how much money remains to fulfill our Share 2024 committed pledges and how much it will cost to cover technology needs. The total needed as of January 3 was $77,462.

Why do we need new media platforms?
We are committed to extending and deepening our on-air ministry through podcasting with the same personal and professional approach that you have come to count on.

Additionally, our recently launched music streams minister to teens and young adults and encourage those who love the timeless classics – reaching audiences that may prefer Christian music outside of what WBCL plays on-air.

It will take 75-thousand dollars by year-end to reach more for Christ and to serve you more effectively through these media platforms and additional new technology.

When I donate, where does the money go?
  • If you are fulfilling a WBCL Share 2024 pledge, that donation will go toward that end which is hugely important. That funding helps pay the bills and other ongoing operating budget costs.
  • Donations designated toward the impact goal will go to that effort.
  • Total Impact Goal:$75,000 (estimates are based on current projected costs):
  • $13,000 for podcasting equipment including things like cameras, software subscriptions, audio suite, computer, and more
  • $12,000 for music stream and new digital tools to enhance on-line engagement
  • $50,000 for construction/facility/branding needs
In order to provide a quality podcast that glorifies God, connects with our listeners in an intentional way, and extends our mission of communicating God’s redemptive love and truth through captivating media, we will need to rearrange offices and create a studio that will allow for audio and video podcast production.

Any undesignated year-end gifts will go toward the impact goal of $75,000. With certainty, construction and equipment costs often go beyond initial quotes. Any additional funds raised outside of the $75,000 will be used for the Impact project as needed. Once fully covered, additional funds will go toward WBCL Share 2024 pledge fulfillment to assist covering pledges others are unable to fulfill.

What if I’ve already fulfilled my Share 2024 pledge, can I give a little extra to help with the Impact goal?
Yes! Any additional gift is greatly appreciated. Just remember to designate your extra gift for that project.
