"Stuff a Blue Goose" with the Michigan State Police's Christmas Donation Drives12/03/2025The Christmas season is the season of giving, and the Michigan State Police is collecting new toy and non-perishable food donations for its annual Stuff a Blue Goose holiday events. The events are named after the nickname of the agency’s patrol vehicle – the Blue Goose – and troopers collect items that stay local to be distributed to area charities. Stuff a Blue Goose donation drives will be held this Saturday in Coldwater, Sturgis, and Three Rivers. Last year, Michigan State Police troopers collected more than 12,000 toys, 4,000 pounds of non-perishable food and $50,000 to support families in need.
