State Department's Bureau of African Affairs Commends Nigeria Response to Attacks, Emphasizes Protection for Christians

As persecution of Christians continues in Nigeria, the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of African Affairs has commended Nigeria’s strong response to recent attacks from Fulani militant groups. The Bureau said it’ll continue to work with the Nigerian government to protect Christians in the country’s Middle Belt region. The Bureau also urged Nigeria to continue the momentum and protect vulnerable communities.
