South Toledo Chuck E. Cheese Location Known for Last Original Animatronic Band Closes09/01/2026Toledo’s Chuck E. Cheese location on Airport Highway closed yesterday after being open since 1993. The south Toledo location was the last regular Chuck E. Cheese location remaining that featured the restaurant chain’s original animatronic band, Munch’s Make Believe Band. The company said the location was closing because its lease was expiring. Meanwhile, Chuck E. Cheese said Toledo’s Monroe Street location will stay open.
