Ribbon Cutting for Elex

The newest phase of Electric Works is now officially open.  Kevan Biggs of Biggs Group celebrated the full opening of the mixed-use development by cutting the facility's ribbon Wednesday. The Elex has 296 apartments, including 89 affordable units. Electric Works is on the former General Electric campus on Broadway. The Elex was named after an association of women employed by the company.  Officials say there is more development coming, including a fitness and wellness center and a planned early childhood learning center.
