Residents Voice Concerns During IDEM Meeting on Google Data Center

Numerous residents attended a public hearing in Fort Wayne Thursday night about a proposed addition to a permit for Google’s data center project. The Indiana Department of Environmental Management is considering a request by the developers to add more than 100 diesel emergency generators. Residents expressed concerns about health, lack of transparency, and other environmental impacts. IDEM is still taking written public feedback through Monday before making a decision.
