Pressure Cooker Recalled Over Serious Burn Risk10/23/2026If you own a 6-quart Power Quick Pot pressure cooker, the Consumer Product Safety Commission says to stop using it immediately. The pressure cooker is being recalled because the lid can open while pressurized, causing hot contents to expel unexpectedly. They were sold by Walmart, Amazon, and other stores nationwide from July 2018 to November 2023. There have been 24 reports of serious burn injuries. The importer has refused to recall the pressure cookers or offer a remedy to consumers.
