Ohio Highway Safety

If you plan on hitting the road for Thanksgiving, INDOT, the Ohio State Highway Patrol, and the Ohio Turnpike remind you to be safe, plan ahead, buckle up, and avoid distracted driving. With expected increases in traffic, INDOT says road closures and restrictions on highways and interstates will be lifted starting today at noon through Sunday where it is safe to do so. Meanwhile, construction across the Ohio Turnpike will be limited to two work zones today through Sunday with at least two lanes of traffic open in both directions across the Turnpike.
