Nearly 36,000 Parkview Patients to Have Medical Debt Forgiven, Totaling More Than $64 Million

More than $64 million in medical debt from nearly 36,000 qualifying Parkview Health patients will be forgiven. The Journal Gazette reports that Parkview announced a partnership with the national nonprofit Undue Medical Debt. Parkview donated the unpaid accounts to Undue instead of selling them to the organization or a collection agency. If you qualify, you’ll receive an Undue Medical Debt-branded envelope in the mail this week, and no further action will be necessary.
