McDonald's to Phase Out Self-Serve Soda Fountains

McDonald’s is beginning the process of ending its self-serve soda fountains. Fox Business reports that the decision stems from the restaurant chain’s plans to modernize its restaurants while cutting costs and maintenance demands. McDonald’s is aiming to have self-serve beverage stations out of its U.S. locations by 2032.
