Lima City Schools Announces Free Summer Lunch Program for Kids05/28/2026Free summer lunches will be offered by Lima City Schools in the district’s school buildings and the Spartan Lunch Express. Children and teens between one and 18 qualify for summer meals even if they do not attend Lima City Schools, but meals must be eaten onsite. Lunches will be available Mondays through Thursdays, 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., from June 1st through August 6th at the following locations:Heritage Elementary School, 816 College Ave. Independence Elementary School, 615 Tremont Ave. Liberty Arts Magnet School, 338 W. Kibby St. Unity Elementary School, 925 E. Third St. Lunches will be available through Aug. 6.
