Lima City Council Certifies Recall Petition for Cable Road Project

A recall petition for the contentious Cable Road project in Lima has been accepted by City Council after being certified by the council clerk. Lima Law Director Tony Geiger said the petition will be on the agenda at the next City Council meeting. If it’s rejected, the issue is over, but if it’s passed, it will go to another ordinance and eventually the Board of Elections to be on the ballot.
