Indiana Nation Guard on the Way to Texas

The Indiana National Guard has deployed 125 soldiers to southern Texas to aid in border enforcement operations. The deployment is in support of Operation Ardent Vanguard, and Guardsmen from the 381st Military Police company in Plymouth will head for southern Texas with Joint Task Force Southern Border. The operation will assist the Department of Homeland Security and U.S. Customs and Border Protection in an effort to secure the U.S. border from migration, narcotics trafficking, human smuggling and trafficking, and other criminal activities.
