Forum to Discuss Possible Casino

Local officials want to hear your opinion on whether a casino should be built in Northeast Indiana. The public is invited to weigh in Tuesday on a proposed casino locating in Fort Wayne.  The forum will begin at 6 p.m. at Memorial Coliseum, 4000 Parnell Ave on January 20th.  Full House Resorts lobbied more than a year ago to move its gaming license from a failing gambling boat in southeast Indiana to New Haven, but the attempt died in committee after numerous residents opposed the move at a Statehouse hearing. In November 2024, Full House announced it wanted to build a $500 million casino and resort in east Allen County.
