Fort Wayne 2027 Budget Goes To City Council

Fort Wayne leaders say the city is in a strong financial position as their 2027 budget plans were presented to City Council last evening. The areas featured were the Public Works Division, Parks and Recreation Department, Fort Wayne Police Department, Fort Wayne Fire Department, and Community Development.  Last month, Mayor Sharon Tucker and City Controller Pat Roller announced the proposed 2027 budget. It calls for investments in neighborhood infrastructure, enhancements in city parks, and a continued commitment to ensuring Fort Wayne is the safest community possible.
