Endowment Fund Benefiting PFW Grows

Purdue University Fort Wayne is announcing that an endowment benefiting the university has reached nearly $15-million due to an $8 million gift from the Chapman Charitable Trust. The boost to the Chapman Scholars Fund Endowment carries forward the vision of Howard Chapman and his wife, Elizabeth "Betsy" Chapman, who died seven years ago at age 84.  Ron Elsenbaumer, university chancellor, says the donation is a reflection of the family's confidence in the campus, its students and the region's future.
