Elevated Levels of Lead in Air Measured by Ohio EPA Near Delta01/07/2026Some elevated levels of lead in the air were detected by the Ohio EPA near the village of Delta. They were detected close to the demolition site of Bunting Bearings’ facility on Van Buren Street that works with materials containing lead. The Ohio EPA said demolition is now over, but the company has been instructed to determine the extent of any possible contamination. The agency also said there are no concerns about drinking water, but water samples from Delta and Swanton will be analyzed.
