Citilink to Launch Tap to Pay, Fare Capping, and Ride Experience Upgrades June 1st05/28/2026Citilink in Fort Wayne is launching a variety of rider experience improvements this summer. Starting June 1st, Citilink’s updates will include:The launch of Tap to Pay technologyFare capping capabilities, Upgraded rider toolsSeveral route and schedule adjustments. Updates include half-hour Route #8 service adjustments to improve consistency during peak hours, routing improvements to the #1 Waynedale/#1A Social Security routes following the reopening of the Bluffton Road bridge, and updates to #21 MedLink service to strengthen route connections and maintain access to key destinations throughout the community. New schedules and updated system maps will soon be available online, at Central Station, and on board buses.The updates are designed to improve rider convenience as well as the transit system.
