Bill Introduced in Indiana House Proposes Allen County Casino12/02/2025A bill that was introduced in the Indiana House yesterday proposes bringing a casino to Allen County. House Bill 1038 would require the Indiana gaming commission to accept applications and proposals to award an owner’s license to operate a casino if certain conditions are met. That includes either the county or another community adopting a resolution to support a casino as well as the Indiana General Assembly’s passage. It’s not clear what will happen to the bill. Last year’s legislation to move a casino to New Haven had significant public concerns over gambling and other societal issues.
