$39 Million in Investments for NW Ohio, SE Michigan Nuclear Workforce Development Program04/10/2026The northwest Ohio and southeast Michigan region is receiving investments totaling more than $39 million for the new Nuclear Reactor Safety Training and Workforce Development program. Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur said the federal and match grants will be used for the Great Lakes Partnership, which will train future workers in the nuclear industry.
