Poetry Out Loud Registration Opens

Registration for a national poetry recitation program called Poetry Out Loud is now open for Ohio high school students.  Administered statewide via the Ohio Arts Council and regionally by the Marathon Center for the Performing Arts in Findlay, the program is open to high school students in northwest Ohio’s 17 counties.  High school teachers, librarians, and administrators can register, as well as arts centers with literacy, theater, or other English language arts programs. Registration for the program is available on the news page at WBCL.org.

For website:  Homeschool and online schools can participate by contacting Chiquita Mullins Lee, state coordinator for the program, at chiquita.mullinslee@oac.ohio.gov or 614-728-4445.
