Ohio Gov. DeWine Signs Executive Order to Fund SNAP10/31/2025With the upcoming pause in food assistance tomorrow, Ohio Governor Mike DeWine has signed an executive order to fund SNAP in the state. The order will provide up to $25 million for food assistance to help families that’ll be affected if the government shutdown continues. DeWine’s order also directs the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services to give $7 million to various Ohio food banks and up to $18 million in emergency relief benefits for those at or below 50% of the federal poverty level.
