Ohio DNR Announces Annual Fall Outdoor Burning Restrictions

The Ohio DNR is urging you to take precautions and follow the state’s outdoor burning regulations. Ohio’s outdoor fall burning ban will be in place from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. in October and November. Burning is restricted in the fall due to the abundance of dry grass, weeds, and leaves on the ground along with gusty winds and low humidity. If you’re going to burn outdoors, the Ohio DNR says to know the weather conditions, have tools and water on hand, and never leave debris burning unattended.
