MI Gov. Whitmer Signs Legislation to Drop MME Essay Portion, Remove Test Scores From Transcripts

Some outdated testing requirements for students in Michigan have been erased under a new law signed by Governor Gretchen Whitmer. The legislation removes the mandatory essay portion of the Michigan Merit Exam and ends the requirement to place test scores on transcripts.
