International Nonprofit "Save a Child's Heart" Helps Critically Ill Children from Developing Nations

A unique organization that saves children with life-threatening heart conditions to give them a second chance is celebrating 30 years this year. “Save a Child’s Heart” has saved the lives of more than 8,000 critically ill children from 75 developing nations. Children are flown to the organization’s world class medical center in Israel to receive lifesaving treatment that they cannot get in their own country. Their families are not asked to pay anything.
