Holiday Travel Expected to Heavy

AAA is estimating that Thanksgiving travel is expected to reach a new high in Indiana, with nearly 2 million Hoosiers planning trips spanning at least 50 miles. The number of travelers statewide is up 3% from last year. About 82 million Americans are expected to travel during the Thanksgiving holiday period, which started Tuesday and ends Monday.  Most of the 1.9 million traveling Hoosiers - about 88% - are planning road trips and 9% are expected to fly.
