Fort Wayne Flood Mitigation Project

Two neighborhoods in Fort Wayne will benefit from a grant to provide flooding relief. City Utilities will use a $750,000 grant from the National Fish and Wildlife Foundation to help pay for flood reduction improvements along Bullerman Drain between Maplecrest Road and Maple Terrace Parkway. The project will benefit more than 100 homes in the Maplewood Terrace and Downs neighborhoods on the city's northeast side.  $2 million will be spent to add almost 7 million gallons of stormwater storage.
