First of Two Unions at Libbey Glass in Toledo Accept Contract, Ending Strike

A strike at Libbey Glass in Toledo by the International Association of Machinists and Aerospace Workers is now over after the union overwhelmingly approved a new contract with the company. The IAM workers had been striking since August. The union said the new five-year contract includes an immediate wage increase of 14.25%, no increase in health insurance premium contributions for 2026, and a signing bonus of $3,000.
