AUDIO: Taylor University's Beloved "Silent Night" Basketball Game Taking Place Friday12/01/2025One of Taylor University’s most highly anticipated traditions of the year, Silent Night, is taking place this week. It’s a basketball game that receives national and even worldwide attention for its uniqueness and for college students having fun in a positive way. Taylor University’s Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Kyle Gould explains what the game is like… Students also fill Taylor’s OdleArena wearing costumes – some of which have been planned for the entire year – while others try to get into the game by camping out several days in advance. After the 10th point celebration, students will sing “Silent Night” together until the end of the game. Gould says the game will be broadcast for free on the Taylor University Trojans’ website. Silent Night is happening Friday, December 5th at 6 p.m.
