Whirlpool Announces Proposed Facility in Perrysburg

Whirlpool Corporation announced over the weekend that it plans to expand its operations with a new facility in Perrysburg, Ohio. It’ll be located at the former Toledo Solar site and will undergo a more than $60 million transformation to produce appliance components and parts for washers and dryers. Construction is expected to take two years and will add 100 to 150 jobs to the area.
