VIDEO: Ohio Launches New Seatbelt Campaign

A new traffic safety campaign in Ohio has been launched that raises awareness about how those who don’t use a seatbelt can threaten the safety of other people traveling with them. Ohio’s new Hard Hitter seatbelt campaign uses football imagery to show the physical impact of an unbuckled person in a vehicle on another passenger. Data from the Ohio Department of Public Safety shows that 64% of people who lost their lives in Ohio crashes last year were not wearing a seatbelt when one was available and Ohio's seatbelt usage remains below the national average.
