Turn Your License Into a "Real ID" Before May 7th Federal Deadline

The federal deadline to convert your license or ID into a Real ID is May 7^th. Licenses that are Real ID-compliant will be required to board flights and access certain federal facilities in response to minimum security standards under The REAL ID Act of 2005. A Real ID has a star in the upper right-hand corner of the license. If your license is not compliant, the documents required to convert your license into a Real ID vary by state.
