Trick-or-Treating Safety Tips for Drivers and Pedestrians

It’s important to be safe whether you’re a driver or pedestrian tonight as kids in countless communities will be out with their parents Trick-or-Treating. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration offers you some tips for driving, including being alert for pedestrians, slowing down, and watching for kids who may dart out into the street. For pedestrians, the agency says to obey signs, signals, watch for vehicles, and cross streets at crosswalks or intersections. Fort Wayne’s trick or treating hours are tonight from 5:30 to 7:30.
