TPS: Ottawa River Elementary School Closing the Rest of the Week Due to Illnesses

Toledo’s Ottawa River Elementary School will be closed for the rest of the week because of an outbreak of influenza-like and norovirus-like illness. Toledo Public Schools said that the school’s closure will allow the spread of illness to be limited while giving the district time to clean and sanitize the school. TPS said the Boys and Girls Club at Ottawa River would also be closed. With tomorrow being the last day of class for TPS students before Christmas break, classes at Ottawa River will resume on January 5th.
