Toledo's South Innovation District to See Improvements After Federal Approval of $20 Million Grant

You’ll notice a variety of infrastructure improvements in Toledo’s Social Innovation District in the future. The City of Toledo announced that U.S. Department of Transportation has approved the city’s $20 million RAISE grant to move forward. The project is designed to help bring private investment to district, improve safety and connectivity, and boost job creation. Construction is expected to start in 2027.
