Toledo Starts New Five-Year Collection Contract with Republic Services

Toledo’s new five-year agreement with Republic Services began yesterday. The agreement continues residential trash, recycling, and bulk waste collection services if you live in Toledo. The city says there is no change to collection schedule, service, or guidelines. The agreement also creates accountability measures for Republic that include the company owing the city penalties for missed pickups and improved customer service.
