Toledo Public Schools Highlights Transformation Plan in First Community Meeting

Leaders of Toledo Public Schools met with the community last night for the first of six meetings to discuss the district’s Transformation Plan. Some of TPS’ ideas to address anticipated government funding cuts and declining enrollment include centralizing sports programs, repurposing schools, and more. Superintendent Dr. Romules Durant (Rom-yuh-luss Durr-ANT) also said Woodward High School will not be closing.
