Toledo Public Schools Debuts CDL Skills Program for Students

There’s a new program for high school seniors at Toledo Public Schools that allows them to earn needed skills to get a commercial driver’s license. TPS says its CDL Practice Pad by Rogers High School can accommodate CDL and bus transportation training. TPS plans to offer one or two classes per semester where students will receive 200 hours of training between the classroom and driving. Students must be 18, have a valid driver’s license, and can speak with a school counselor about the opportunity.
