Toledo Public Schools Cuts 100 Jobs Amid Funding Shortfall, Declining Enrollment

At least 100 positions are being cut at Toledo Public Schools. TPS’ school board unanimously approved the cuts during a meeting Thursday that was packed with attendees and other staff. The cuts were made in response to tens of millions of dollars in expected funding reductions through 2027 as well as declining enrollment. Affected staff members would be notified Friday.
