Toledo Museum of Arts Turns 125

A landmark anniversary for a Toledo treasure.  The Toledo Museum of Art was founded in 1901 and is now celebrating 125 years of culture in the community. Officials say that the museum has more than 30,000 works of art in its collection, worth more than ten billion dollars.  Edward Drummund Libbey and his wife Florence opened the museum with the plan to make it accessible to everyone. The Toledo Museum of Art offers visitors world-class exhibitions, educational opportunities…and admission is free.
