Toledo Mud Hens Manager Fired

The manager of the Toledo Mud Hens, Gabe Alvarez, has been fired by the Detroit Tigers due to a “violation of club policy.” The Tigers did not elaborate on the decision and said it would have no further comment. Mike Hessman will serve as the Mud Hens’ interim manager.
