Toledo Health Officials Issue Public Health Alert for Swan Creek

06/09/2025

After a public health advisory was recently issued by the Toledo-Lucas County Health Department for Delaware Creek, another advisory was issued for Swan Creek for elevated E. coli levels. It comes after a sewer overflow that was caused by the sewer collapse on Arlington Avenue, which has also led to complaints from residents about the smell in the area. Health officials urge you to avoid contact with creek water until further notice. Click here for more updates from the City of Toledo about the sewer restoration project.
