Toledo City Plan Commission Advances Ideas01/16/2026The Toledo City Plan Commission met Thursday with a packed agenda, including a five-year, multi-million-dollar infrastructure plan, a controversial gas station expansion and a school expansion. Leading the meeting was a review of the city’s 2026-2030 Capital Improvement Program. The commission voted unanimously to recommend approval of the proposal, which serves as a roadmap for city spending on major projects. The plan will now be presented to Toledo City Council for a vote. The plan earmarks $18 million for the Englewood, Junction and Uptown reconnecting project, a major overhaul featuring road reconstruction, high-visibility crosswalks and a new multi-use path.
