Toledo City Council Approves Measures Related to Federal Immigration Enforcement

Toledo City Council approved measures last night that cover how the city will interact with federal immigration enforcement operations. Those included recommendations on how federal agents conduct themselves, a review process for detention facility permits, and how city resources can be used in operations. A fourth measure concerning access to schools and childcare centers was not voted on and was sent to a committee.
