Settlement Reached with Google Over Alleged Play Store Monopolization

You could be eligible for part of a $700 million national Google Play Store settlement. A bipartisan group of 53 attorneys general sued Google in 2021 alleging that it unlawfully monopolized the markets for Android app distribution and in-app payment processing. In most cases, settlement funds will be sent to you automatically through PayPal or Venmo if you made a purchase on the Google Play Store between August 2016 and September 2023.
