The goal of this year’s Red Kettle Campaign in Allen County, Indiana is $200,000. Captain and Corps Officer Dena Smith says it’s the Salvation Army’s major campaign of the year, supporting not only its Christmas assistance programs, but all year long with funds staying local. Smith also says they’re looking for individuals, families, and groups to volunteer as bell ringers this season with most shifts lasting for about 2 hours.
