Rossford Balloon Festival Canceled

Organizers of one of Rossford, Ohio’s largest events of the summer - the Rossford Balloon & Fireworks Fest – have made the decision to cancel this year’s event due to the hazardous air quality that has resulted from recent wildfires in Canada. The balloon fest typically attracts thousands of visitors each year and features tethered balloon rides, fireworks, live entertainment and a nightly balloon glow. The Rossford Convention & Visitors Bureau says the decision was made after careful monitoring of weather forecasts, air quality reports and consultation with hot air balloon pilots.
