ProMedica Warns of Scams Impersonating MyChart

ProMedica is urging you to beware of scams that impersonate MyChart. ProMedica says health systems nationwide are reporting fraudulent emails and text messages that offer free “Medicare Kits” or “Senior Health Packages” to steal personal information. The scams are not caused by a MyChart security breach. MyChart owner Epic says if you’re in doubt about a message or website, contact your healthcare provider before entering information.
