Pontiac Preserve Opens Along Maumee River in Toledo

Local officials recently celebrated the dedication of the 59-acre Pontiac Preserve in Toledo. It’s a new public park that transforms a former confined disposal facility into a restored riverfront destination along the Maumee River. The park opens an area to the public that was once inaccessible while preserving and showcasing Toledo’s natural waterfront resources.
