Partial Demolition Begins on Waterville, Ohio's Roche de Boeuf Bridge

The partial demolition of the Roche de Boeuf Bridge in Waterville, Ohio recently started. ODOT crews are working to remove the bridge’s sidewalls, leaving the arches in place. Project leaders say the partial demolition of the 118-year-old bridge is unusual, and crews have had to create solutions on the spot. The City of Waterville will take ownership of the bridge once work is completed. Future plans for the bridge have not been announced.
